Our collection comprises 26 Designs spanning over 280 colors across a range of dobby and jacquard textiles in piece and yarn dyed qualities.

LIFE Textiles® is a new Environmentally Sustainable textile range from INSTYLE which has been in development for over 5 years in collaboration with Woolmark Americas.

New ranges will be added to the LIFE Textiles® collection. The initial range BALANCE upholstery is 100% Australian wool and has a coordinating multiuse - upholstery and wall paneling textile range named SOURCE (both of which are regarded as an important innovation) will be released at Neocon in Chicago in June 2004. ORGANIC LIFE will be the next release under the LIFE Textiles® banner and will also be showcased at Neocon 2004. These textiles are designed to have minimal environmental impact at every stage of their lifecycle.

The use of rapidly renewable 100% Australian/ New Zealand wool is integral to achieving this goal.

As well as being produced under a low impact manufacturing protocol, LIFE textiles® are durable and can also positively influence indoor air quality by removing prevalent indoor air contaminants known as VOCs. Further more only wool-rich contract textiles can be accepted for reuse and recycling.

Our textile designers are designing new collections up to 2 years in advance and in 2004 we plan to launch 7- 8 new patterns and collections.ACT Standards

INSTYLE's Target Markets
Our textiles have applications across Corporate Office, Government, Major Buildings, Hospitality, Health Care, Education, Stadia, and Transportation Interiors.

INSTYLE's Design Resources
The unique designs and colorations are developed in our Sydney Design Studio where our designers create contemporary, sophisticated and high performance textiles.

INSTYLE has invested in excess of $600,000 in the establishment of the INSTYLE Design Studio which is equipped with `state-of-the-art' computer facilities. The studio has sophisticated Macintosh computer workstations and utilises desktop publishing and the latest textile design software from the UK.

The AVA cad cam software is specifically developed for use in designing both jacquard and dobby woven textiles as well as printed textile designs. This facility enables us to scan in artwork, manipulate this source material in many various ways, and develop the concept into a design which can be put into repeat and translated into woven simulations.

The studio also has a 24 shaft hand loom which is interfaced with the Design Studio computer network and is used for the development of dobby woven designs. The advantage of these facilities is twofold, firstly our design studio concentrates on the development of a unique INSTYLE handwriting and secondly, we offer clients extremely quick, custom-sample turnaround for special projects.

Stock Support
At any given time INSTYLE has approximately 150,000 yards of fabric available to support our customers requirements.

Customer orders will be available with a lead time of 5-7 days and often sooner.

INSTYLE's partner mills have been selected for the quality of their product, reliable delivery service and importantly the employment of a Low Impact for the Environment Manufacturing Strategy.

If a textile is not in stock, it is generally able to be manufactured within a 3-5 week period, depending upon the textile design.

Technical Support
INSTYLE's Product and Quality Manager, Louise Cramp, holds an Honours Degree in Textile Technology from the University of NSW. Louise's previous experience includes technical management of a textile manufacturing plant located in Sydney.

Due to the high profile INSTYLE enjoys within the wool textile, manufacturing industry, INSTYLE was appointed an IWS (International Wool Secretariat) Key Partner. The IWS have invited a small number of textile companies worldwide to be involved in their Key Partner program.

As a Key Partner, INSTYLE has access to all new product and technical developments and receives priority technical and testing assistance which INSTYLE in turn offers to our clients on custom projects and the development of unique textiles.
